When 31 year old Marc Lafleur bought his first race car, a 2004 BMW E46 M3, ambitions were high, but nobody could have imagined that in his rookie season he’d be leading the CASC Pirelli Sprint Championship in Canada.

Counted out to graduate high school, Marc beat the odds scaling his company to a $16.8M acquisition in only 5 years. He became the second Black CEO on the cover of the Globe & Mail, faced the fire on CBC’s Dragons’ Den, and despite landing his first book deal with Forbes, Marc still has a lot to prove and he has his eyes set on doing it on the racetrack.

THE 2022 STATS

In Marc’s 2022 rookie season, he led the CASC Pirelli Sprint Championship in Canada. After his first full 18 race season, Marc not only won 1st in class, but also 1st overall in the championship, as well as Rookie of the year.

OUR WORK

From major brands, to national media coverage. We understand the business of motorsport and our goal is to leverage Marcs collective reach and network to add value to all our partners.

Motorsport and fashion have gone hand in hand since the 80s. Tommy Hilfiger, Marcelo Burlon, Marc Jacobs and more have been taking inspiration from racing in recent years.

With the rise of motorsport, thanks in part to the success of Netflix’s “Drive to Survive”, fashion brands are realizing that there is an early opportunity.

As Marc continues his journey to climb the ranks of motorsport, collaborating with Harry Rosen, Canada’s leading luxury menswear retailer, was a match made in heaven.

“I’m jumping from listening to startup pitches, to conference panels, to the track on a fairly regular basis. With the documentary we’re putting together, the cameras are always rolling and for me, what I wear and how I look is a two way street with how I feel. If I don’t look my best, then I won’t feel like I’m at my best. If I don’t feel like I’m at my best, then I’m already starting the day at a disadvantage. Since my wardrobe started shifting to mostly brands from Harry Rosen, we’ve been getting a lot of interest in what I wear and it’s exciting for me to be able to point to a Canadian fashion powerhouse like Harry Rosen” -Marc Lafleur

We live in a world where who you are and what you do is one thing, but the exposure and audience you have is something completely different. For better or for worse, brands need the confidence to know that you have people’s attention above all else. We understand that.

From health and wellness vlogs on YouTube, to keynote conference talks, to podcasts on entrepreneurship that reach 250,000 monthly listeners, to the cover of mainstream national media outlets, such as the Globe and Mail.

With the launch of his book with Forbes True Founder: What No One Else Has the Guts to Teach You About Starting Your First Business” , Marc will be diving full-time into marketing himself and his brands to grow his audience, and therefore his ability to support his partners.

Motorsport relationships are typically built around B2B relationships, hospitality, and networking. As Marc continues to grow his audience, we’ll be excited to offer this unique exposure to our partners as well.

Marc has been involved with Web3 since 2019. Specifically, Marc has provided consultation for up and coming Web3 projects on how to properly use NFTs as more than $500k jpegs, how to use tokens to pour fuel on the fire of community engagement rather than using it to bribe new community growth, and is currently working on a way to use Web3 tooling to make motorsport more accessible.

When the opportunity to come on as an advisor for IMSA Fastlane, the official marketplace for IMSA’s digital collectibles, in exchange for support of Marc’s racing team, it was a perfect partnership.

“Watching sport memorabilia transition to digital in the form of digital collectibles, tradable videos, and NFTs is inevitable, but nailing the messaging and go-to-market strategy to properly introducing and onboard an existing audience is delicate” - Marc Lafleur

Marc is lending his expertise to help support the success of IMSA Fastlane while they’re on track to replicate the success of the NBA’s Top Shot NFT marketplace.
